Does it work on my skin tone?

Yes. Our Candela GentleMax Pro Plus carries two wavelengths — Alexandrite at 755nm for lighter tones and Nd:YAG at 1064nm for deeper ones. That is what lets us treat Fitzpatrick types I through VI safely, including tones many machines cannot.

How many sessions will I need?

Most areas take six to eight sessions, four to six weeks apart. Hair grows in cycles and the laser only reaches it during the active phase, which is why the spacing matters. Your exact plan comes out of the consult.

Is it permanent?

Laser gives permanent hair reduction, not 100% removal — and we’d rather tell you the honest number. After a full course, most people see up to about 80% of the hair gone for good. The rest is fine regrowth that a maintenance session once or twice a year keeps away.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe a quick, warm rubber-band snap. The machine cools the skin with every pulse, which both protects it and takes the edge off.

How do I prepare?

Shave the area 24 hours before. Avoid sun and self-tanner for two weeks. No waxing, plucking or threading for four weeks — the laser needs the root. Come with clean skin: no lotion, deodorant or makeup on the area.

We postpone laser during pregnancy as a standard precaution, and we will happily hold your package until you are ready to continue.

What should I do after a session?

SPF daily, avoid direct sun, hot saunas and harsh scrubs for 48 hours, and keep the area clean and moisturized. Full aftercare comes with your booking confirmation.
